Last week we had the privilege of receiving cheques from our hard-working Golf Society who held a very successful Golf Classic on Fri 3rd May last.  The Golf Society presented a cheque of €10K to the Club Executive which helps enormously with the upkeep and improvement of our Club facilities. Brilliant achievement and massive thanks to all including our wonderful Sponsors listed above and special thanks to our main sponsors McDonalds Ballincollig. 

 

This Golf Classic is now in its 35th year which is great testament to everyone involved.

Additionally, this year the Golf Society presented cheques of €500 to each of the Feile Football teams (Boys & Girls) to help with expenses for trip to Mayo at the end of June representing Cork in the National finals.

On the night prizes were also given to match play winner Denis O'Rourke and Ryder Cup team winners: Johnny McCarthy, Fiona McMenamin Liam Barry, & Michael O'Mahoney. Congrats to all winners and everyone taking part in the golf outings.
